Circuit City Closing 155 Stores
If you haven’t heard already, Circuit City will be closing 155 stores across the U.S. Most store closure’s are located in the Mid-west. Most stores are under performing.
This really doesn’t phase me a whole lot. Circuit City hasn’t been doing to well over the past few years. It’s stock is currently worth less than $1 a share. A Circuit City opened in the town next to me about 2 or 3 years ago. Every time I’ve gone in there, there’s only a few people in there looking around. Usually there are more associates than customers. However, according to the list, that store will remain open. But I’ll give it another year or two.

Music Video: Lollipop – Framing Hanley
I’m sure you have all heard Lil Wayne’s song Lollipop. It has graced the airwaves for a few month’s recently (not so much anymore). Framing Hanley has come out with a rock version of the song. It’s wicked sick. Lyrics are clearly meant for a sluring rapper, but just try to drown that out. Oh yeah, forward to about 2:15 in… That’s when it starts.
Netflix Watch Instantly coming to TiVo
Well, here’s some good news for TiVo owners. Soon you’ll be able to watch movies from Netflix on your TiVo, instantly. No more waiting for the mail man to arrive with those red envelopes.
Unfortunately for me, I have a series 2 TiVo, so that means I won’t be able to enjoy this feature unless I upgrade to a TiVo Series 3 or a TiVo HD.
So how much will this cost you? Well standard TiVo service is approximately $12 a month. In order to enjoy the Netflix Watch Instantly service, you’ll have to put down an additional $8.99 a month for the Netflix service. That’s the price for the 1-DVD at a time plan. So, if you enjoy either one of these services, adding the other is worth it.
Engadget.com has posted the official announcement from TiVo and Netflix. Be sure to read it to find out more information on this new service.

Busy… Busy…
Sorry for the lack of updates. Recently I’ve been doing some work as a freelance researcher. Basically, I’m doing some research for an insurance website for a future article. It’s pretty mind-numbing and kills my energy levels… But whatcha going to do about it. That kind of explains the lack of updates on my end. I’m also preparing for my cousin’s wedding on Saturday. So the next week will be slow around here… But I’ll get a few posts up before I leave.
