Movie Review: Focus
Plot:
In the midst of veteran con man Nicky’s latest scheme, a woman from his past – now an accomplished femme fatale – shows up and throws his plans for a loop.
My Review:
Always been a fan of Will Smith. When I saw the movie trailer for this movie, I knew I wanted to see it. A solid movie with Will deceiving everyone around him, but does he get in too deep?

Movie Review: The Wedding Ringer
Plot:
Doug Harris (Josh Gad) is a loveable but socially awkward groom-to-be with a problem: he has no best man. With less than two weeks to go until he marries the girl of his dreams (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting), Doug is referred to Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart), owner and CEO of Best Man, Inc., a company that provides flattering best men for socially challenged guys in need. What ensues is a hilarious wedding charade as they try to pull off the big con, and an unexpected budding bromance between Doug and his fake best man Jimmy. (c) Sony
My Review:
Another comedy with a low Rotten Tomatoes score. I had slightly low expectations for this movie, but a big fan of Kevin Hart so I figured I couldn’t go wrong. Overall, it was a solid movie, with a few twists, and a good plot.

Movie Review: Let’s Be Cops
Plot:
It’s the ultimate buddy cop movie except for one thing: they’re not cops. When two struggling pals dress as police officers for a costume party, they become neighborhood sensations. But when these newly-minted “heroes” get tangled in a real life web of mobsters and dirty detectives, they must put their fake badges on the line. (c) Fox
My Review:
The dismal Rotten Tomatoes score had me double-thinking my pick, however it was a well thought-out movie. The movie provided laughs from beginning to finish without a dull moment of action.
