I’ve been slacking hardcore with the site lately. Basically boredom with the site. I’ve changed the layout and plan on cleaning up some sections and removing old parts. I also have a few ideas for some new content. So stay tuned.

WordPress Upgrade Successful… Kinda

Alright so I’ve been updating about a half dozen websites (for work) to WordPress 3.0 after the last couple days, checking to make sure everything is ok. Every single site has worked flawlessly until I upgraded my own personal blog. Apparently one of the add-ons decided to kill my site completely. Completely blank which no idea what was causing it. However after a few minutes of tinkering around I found the cause of the problem… and here we are.

This is a temp. look for P3K, if you even notice the difference. Same colors, just easier to manage. The last theme was giving me grief with the sidebar widgets.

What’s going on in my life? Just bought a new car, been working, about to do some traveling for the summer. I’ve also been working on my web hosting site a lot lately. I had it redesigned back in December and just getting around to launching it in hopefully the next couple of weeks. And if you’re one of my loyal visitors allll the way back from 1999, then you definitely know that creating new layouts is NOT my forte and it can take awhile for that to happen… just being honest here. It’s NOTHING new.

I’ll try to post more in the mean time while I launch my redesigned web hosting site and get this site back on track. In the mean time, hang in there and enjoy the ride.

Lack of Updates

Let me apologize for the lack of updates the past couple of months. Every few weeks I’ve been traveling and just losing track of time. Been using it to just relax and catch up with friends or just with life in general.

I’ve been checking out various designs for this site and will hopefully have something fairly soon. I’m waiting for WordPress 3.0 to drop and make sure everything works as is and then I can move forward. It would suck to have something ready to go before then and not have it work properly.

Anywho, I’ll have some more blog posts in the near future and get back on track and into the swing of things again.

I prematurely made a post about a new design coming to the site. In the process of getting it ready for launch there was a huuuge flaw. That delayed the schedule. It might get pushed back by a couple of weeks as I have a few trips planned and won’t have much free time on the weekend. So stay tuned. I’m going to start to plan the change now so it goes smooth.

10 Year Anniversary

My site has now been up for 10 years. Many changes have been made over the years. Who knew this site would still be up 10 years later?

I’ve been toying around with some ideas, designs, and features for the site. I’m still trying to figure out what direction I want to move in. Hopefully I’ll have a better idea in the coming weeks as its getting quite irritating.

If for some reason I don’t post before Christmas, happy holidays to all my visitors.

General Maintenance & New Shot

I’ve been doing some general maintenance around the site. Trying to get everything back in working order. I have to figure out a better way to organize all my hot shots. The menu is getting too long.

Lack of Posts

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I’ve been busy with grad. school, working, and my birthday. On another hand, I was also unable to login to WordPress for a week or two. I was having issues with my server, so my web host moved me over to another server. In the process a few things went wrong with WordPress. My host and I finally ironed out all the issues yesterday so I’ll get back into posting in the next few days.

Sorry about the lack of posts. Part of it is lazyness, part because of my grad. class, and the other part is because my WordPress install is corrupt. I have to figure out how to fix the issues I’m having.

Site Upgrade & Misc.

So WordPress just released its latest update, version 2.8. I”m a little scared to update it and have everything on this site destroyed. But I guess it will have to happen sooner or later. I just upgraded my personal site, and everything seemed to go alright, but then again there are like 5 add-ons installed. If all proves well, then I’ll have to do the same for the 2 sites I manage at work.

Anywho, things are slowing down here, I’ll pick it back up. Just been having a crappy, lazy week and trying to get back on track. The weather is destroying any motivation that I have to do anything productive, no matter how trivial it is. I just got Zach & Miri Make a Porno on Blu-ray the other day, so I think I’m going to go watch that. I also got 007 Quantum Solace, but I feel like anything not funny will put me to sleep… which would be bad because its only 8:15.

But with that said, I’m off to go watch the movie and upgrade the site. Hopefully you’re reading this message because then that means everything went well and I haven’t completely given up on the internet yet.

New Look, New Features!

P3K is sporting a new look. Hope its easier on the eyes. I’m always looking for ways to make the site look better, easy to use, and more functional.

With this new layout, I’ve incorporated Facebook Connect. You can now use your Facebook account to comment on my blog without any additional registration on your part. Its extremely simple to connect your account.

I’m in the process of fixing up a few things so blogging will pickup in the next day or so, so hang in there.
